The Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin provides education and training for family and professional caregivers, and communities across south-central, and southwestern counties in the state. We work with community partners, such as the Aging and Disability Resource Centers, senior centers, memory care facilities, and many others to assist with these programs.

Providing caregivers with education, information and resources help to relieve stress and reduce caregiver burnout, providing a better quality of life for both the individual with dementia and the care partner. Dementia education reduces stigma and also helps communities and businesses to be more dementia-friendly.

Caregivers attending our educational programs tell us their stress levels are lower, they feel more empowered and knowledgeable about caring for their loved ones, and they feel an increased sense of community by connecting with others on the same journey.
