Alzheimer's Walk
THANK YOU to the southern Wisconsin businesses who have donated almost $70,000 to our Alzheimer's Walk efforts!

If you're affected by Alzheimer's disease or other dementia, we're here for you.

The Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin provides direct programs and services in the south central Wisconsin area and advocacy on dementia-related issues affecting the entire state.

Our professional staff will help you navigate through the complex maze of issues that can arise when you or someone you know is affected by early memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia. We're here to provide guidance, education, support and advocacy for those who live with this challenging diagnosis.

There is not yet a cure for Alzheimer’s, but there are strategies and treatments throughout the course of the disease that can help maximize the quality of life for all affected.

Whether you suffer from memory loss or care for someone with Alzheimer's or other dementia, contact us for help and support. We will stand by you.

New name - same services, support and commitment to you

After serious and lengthy consideration, our Board of Directors voted unanimously to disaffiliate from the National Alzheimer's Association to become the Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.

The National Association is increasingly focused on raising money to support national awareness and research activities. These are certainly important goals. However, our Board felt our ties to UW-Madison’s Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (W-ADRC) provide us with a unique opportunity to directly support cutting-edge research, and the dollars we raise are best spent on programs and services that support those impacted by dementia here in Wisconsin

The name has changed but our staff, Board of Directors, programs and services, office locations and commitment and concern for those dealing with Alzheimer's or other dementia remain the same.

If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Paul Rusk, Executive Director, at 608.232.3400.
